To start with, you should go to Administration > Currency.
At first, quite a good thing is to create and manage the currency list that will be available for selection in multi-currency fields. It’s convenient if you handle business transactions with international clients as it promotes an international trade. When adding a new currency, opt it from the list of currencies. Here you are also able to set up the default currency, which will be your company’s primary currency used for all the reports and other company’s income calculations, and change its format. In the end, don’t forget to save the changes.
As you can see, we are able to select the needed currency in multi-currency fields from the currency list that we’ve managed.
In case you want each of your employees to work with different default currency, you can configure it in Preferences by selecting the needed currency as default and saving the changes.
